Suitable for all all small boat and prospective boat owners including , powerboats, ribs, speed boats, motor cruisers and fishing boats. Basically anything with a motor less than 10 metres in length. Lot's of advice available on buying the right boat...do the course first and make sure that your first boat is the right boat.
We use an Offshore 6m Rib with a 90 HP outboard to deliver our training. This allows us to run the courses from February to October whatever the weather conditions.

The course lasts 6 hours per day and includes all course materials with 3 clients per instructor in each boat. Takes place at Leigh on Sea Marina.

Cost £270. Booked solid at the moment due to the great weather. Weekends get booked a couple of months in advance.
Mon/Tues 14/15th Sept 1pm start, Thur/Fri 8/9th October 9.30am start Sat/Sun 24/25th October 9.30 am start - season closes for this year until March 2027.

This is a 2 day course. Pre-course experience required none. The minimum age for candidates is 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued an endorsed certificate.
